A top-down DXF of your bed: the outer shape becomes the plate, and round holes in it become printer mounts (by size) or 3 mm dowel holes. Anything else in the file is ignored.

Enter the print area your printer lists. The plate is made larger on each side so an oversized flex sheet can overhang the print area and lock into dowel pins: a 500 × 500 print area gets a 505 × 505 plate.

The sheet sits with its back edge against the dowels, centred on them, and its tab hangs over the front edge. Upload the DXF of a sheet you already own to check that it lands on the dowels and covers the print area.
